and let the river run.
Peer into mortality
through the barrel of life unspun.
Don’t let a moment fail you–
even if you’re born on fragile knees.
Close your eyes and make ready for
the gentle warmth of a new summer breeze.
No setback should be stronger
than your will to see this through,
and no force should be greater
than what you’ve set yourself up to do.
